LLL Reptile
Ok so I ordered a VE-2 rack from lllreptile. Ordered it 5 days ago and still hasn't shipped. So does anybody know why it says it takes 7-14 days to ship. I'm the most patient person in the world. But I'm getting antsy now. I know somebody will say something about ordering from them. But the rack + tubs were the best deal I found on any site.

I can't speak for LLL specifically, but most cage/rack makers of PVC racks and cages don't hold a lot of stock in inventory (pretty bulky to do that), so they may need the time to manufacture the rack.

7-14 days to ship or 7-14 days for completed deliver to your house? either way i would guess the money u saved on the deal goes towards slower (and lower) shipping costs. LLLreptile advertises on our forum and i've ordered supply from them before. i think they're fine as long as your needs are not urgent. i guess u can pay for faster shipping, but there goes some of the money u just saved on their deals. they also put on a big show w/ both animals and supplies at our expo's.

Like someone already said, I haven’t seen any company that has racks in stock. Most of them have a wait time. Some up to 12 weeks so the rack can be built and then shipped.

Ok thanks. Thought that might have been it. It was only $110 w/ 2 tubs for $17 + $29.99 shipping. So it's worth the wait for me. Was just wondering. I guess having already put together racks in stock would take up a lot of space.

They might also have larger items like racks, cages, etc. drop-shipped from the manufacturer instead of stocking them in a warehouse.

So you say it says it takes 7-14 days to ship and it's only been 5 days and you're the most patient person in the world, but you're getting antsy???
