How often to feed gtp?
My gtp is around 1-2 years old. The person he was bought from said to feed him every other week. But he just seems so hungry during that time. And when I do feed him he goes crazy and takes it immediately like he hasn't been fed in forever. I was wondering if this is the right amount of time to feed him?

It depends on the size of the gtp and what type of prey you are feeding.
Assuming your gtp is the one in your profile picture and is of average male biak size, I would feed him a large/breeder mouse once every 10-14 days. If you are feeding smaller prey than that, then it is not enough.

Your feeding schedule is fine, you don't want to over feed a GTP. I feed my adults every 14-21 days throughout most of the year.

Re: How often to feed gtp?
It seems like anytime I ever see a picture of them, they're always coiled up on a branch.
Do they ever crawl around a lot

No, they're pretty much the most sedentary arboreal species there is. They'll move very slowly from branch to branch sometimes just to change position.

It really depends on what time of day you're watching. They are very sedentary during the day but after dark they do come alive. Mine will move around, exploring and searching for food.

I've caught mine at night moving around some, exploring. But during the day he just sits coiled up. Now ever now and then he spots my ferrets and starts focusing on them haha
