    Mia

    Hi all !

I was worried about Mia being small for her age but I think she's going to eventually catch up.... She has gained 22g in 18 days !

She didn't eat tonight but my son thinks she may be getting ready to shed.

I don't see any indication of shedding.

However, my son said that last time she refused a meal he had her out the next day and she looked completely normal and she shed all in one piece that night.

Is that common that there is no indication of shedding (eyes look normal etc...) and then boom!!! they shed?

    Quick pics...m

Chances are you caught the tail end of the shed. There eyes typically resume normal color for a couple days before the shedding takes place. I only have one snake that fools me with shedding and that's my lavender albino het pied. She has shed out of nowhere before. As for the weight unless you first checked on a completely empty stomach and after a very healthy poop I'd say 22g of weight is a meal in her belly as well as poop.
