    Morph Question

I came across this on Facebook. Anyone have info on the black pastel with the white ringer? Can’t find anything online. Just curious as to who owns it.

Just a Super Black Pastel Het Pied with a ringer, while not all ringers are het pieds, and not all Het Pieds have ringers some just do.

As for who owns it the answer is in the picture.

Super Blacks look cool as hatchlings but usually fade to brown.

Side Note: If you every try to make a Super Black Spider: try not use a high-white Spider...The white pigmentation just sort of spreads up the sides and messes everything up instead of looking cool...Pictured: Super Black Pastel Spider (4 years old) x OG Het Albino

i own several animals w/ various stages of ringers including Black Pastel animals. all of them are het Pied except funny enough my 1st Black Pastel Champ girl and a Calico YB. my SBP poss Pin is 66% het Pied has no ringer. i think ringers are really cool whether or not the animal is het Pied.

Some morphs are more prone to ringers, both black pastel and het pieds fall on that list.

I know, I was more interested in this particular snake. I’ve never seen a solid black snake with a white ringer. I see that it is still for sale. $10,000. I misread the ad and thought it had been sold.

There are tons of snakes out there for that much and more. It’s not unheard of. Especially for a worlds first.
