    Reptile show (getting the shakes!)

There’s a reptile show in town this weekend, and there is one snake I’m looking for and plan to buy if I see it, but I’m starting to get a little worried I may end up with another one (or 2) I just can’t live without! I don’t want to turn into the male snake loving equivalent of the crazy cat lady, weird snake guy!

If coming home with one is a good thing, coming home with more than one has to be great!

I’m afraid you’re on a forum of some of the worst enablers you will ever meet. We’ll gladly help with suggestions for setting up quarantine tubs on the fly. And the reputation isn’t all that bad...there are a lot of people who think of me as the snake lady. lol

Edit: This is coming from the woman who added 8 ball pythons between June and December 2018.

4 snakes in a 5 month period here. Is that weird, I guess it’s all a matter of perspective. I just passed up a Reptile show last weekend because I have money and really don’t need any more snakes at the moment. I did go buy some feeder rats and the reptile shop had a Mexican Black Kingsnake, how I got out of there with out it is beyond me. I know my limits and ignore them from time to time. If your like me I hope you get the one your after, at least before you start looking at other options, lol. Good luck and as long as your really not crazy you could just be the snake guy.

What's weird about it? Wear your badge on your heart and be loud and proud! When people ask me...."wait you raise and breed snakes?" With that crazy look on there face I grin ear to ear and and say yup. Have pride and never let others reactions change how you feel. Life is too short.

As long as you have set ups already buy away. If you don't have set ups...don't buy. Yet lol

Re: Reptile show (getting the shakes!)

After reading Diane's and Jake's post about acquiring snakes in a certain time frame, I feel out of place. I have bought 5 BP's in just over a month. Can someone point me in the direction to the BP anonymous meetings
