    Yet another feeding question.

    Hello all!

I’ve had my first ball python now for about three weeks. I’m absolutely in love. I’ve been reading a lot and have good temp/humidity and she’s eaten when I’ve fed her.

Heres the thing: I was mistakenly told to feed her mouse pinkies (she’s still very small) which I’ve now realized is wrong. I just fed her one last night and was wondering when I should try to feed her a hopper. Is tonight too soon? I’m worried she’s underweight and just want to make sure she’s okay.

    Thank you you in advance!

Personally in my opinion what I would do is wait about 5-6 days and then offer her the hopper

Not sure of her age. Waiting for the pet store (I know, I know) to get back to me. She’s 55g and about 18 inches. That seems so little and I’m worried. With me she’s eaten two pinkies.

Sounds like she's just a hatchling
I'm sure she is underweight but at least she's eating and that is a very good thing . You can get the weight back on her eventually
