Impacted cleared, need help on feeding

Ok my advanced BP keepers and breeders....I have a question.

Sweety was impacted, which is now cleared, and caused prolapsing.

I have her on Hoppers (she is 77grams) and I am wondering if I keep her on hoppers until I see her passing stools or go ahead and move her up to adult mice? She has taken a hopper for two weeks now. No stools passed yet but she is passing normal eurates now.

So do I move her up or keep her on hoppers until I know she can pass stools normally?

    thanks all!

I haven't dealt with this issue but my gut feeling says keep her on hoppers for a while, ie. "proceed with caution" since some prolapses return.

Yes it does seem the common sense approach to keep the food small ...

Out of interest what happened to the prolapse ... did it go back inside itself , did you have to help it back or was it a vet job ??

It has gone back in. Still a little swelling but she always pulls it back in and her vent looks normal. No stitches were needed to hold it in.

    ^^^ I say exactly that ^^^^

I have never dealt with that either, but I see no reason to rush things. I'd stick to the smaller prey and let her heal up. It certainly won't hurt her to play it safe.
