He said 6 months old. They were maintenance fed to stay small so they sell at shows. I wish less breeders would do this as I much prefer to buy snakes with a little size to them, but obviously its easier for them to sell them small and keep them in hatchling racks longer.

The Pied that you see visually showing the Piebald gene is Homozygous for Piebald, aka he has the gene and you can visually see it. The normal "het" for pied means she is Heterozygous for the Piebald gene. This means she carries the gene inside of her but does not visually show it at all. Breeding a Visual Pied to a Het pied (this pair) means that 50% of the babies will be Visual Pieds like dad and 50% of the babies will be normals het pied like Mom.

Nice pick up! Piers are awesome. If I were able to pick any two retic a to add to my home (I can’t lol) I’d go for a locale normal like Sulawesi and a nice pied.

Pied was definitely top of my list. Almost certain he'll prove tiger. Also he has really nice silvers on the side that are gonna be crazy with age.

OK, so there is a rhyme and reason to it. That makes sense. Now to master the rest. Thanks!
