Erzulie (BRB) Thread!
Hey everyone! I wanted to share my new girl Erzulie here, a 2018 female BRB from Hardin Herpetologica! I took this while checking her out, just before putting her in her new home (for now, an IRIS tub) to settle down. She was as feisty as you'd expect from a BRB her age. She seems to be settling in well, soaking in her water and burrowing all over the place. I hope to post updates here from time to time.

Always loved Brazilian Rainbow Boas ... crazy that the other types have a similar pattern but aren't nearly as colourful .. think I've seen fairly drab looking ones (in comparison) Columbian and Paraguayan Rainbow Boas .. there maybe more ?

How large do they get and are they a pretty chill snake when they're an adult?

I believe they get up to 5-6' long. They are nippy as babies, but calm down with age, size, and regular handling. Mine is nippy and defensive. After she settles into a feeding routine, I'll start handling her. She struck at my hand once when I got her out of her shipping container, but it was a false strike, not a bite.
