    Northwest Reptile Expo

I am going to be attending the Portland Metro Reptile Expo next week, and this will be my first expo. What are some tips for first timers?

solid advice. also if u can, research some vendors before u go. if u are on a budget, leave the credit cards at home. only bring what u can afford in cash.

I went to my fist expo and was not disappointed. The vendors there are very nice and so is the reptile community. I didn't get many photos as I held too many snakes lol

Banana Pastel Lesser female that was for sale

BEL (I think) that was someone's pet, what a heavy girl

Here is a baby tortoise but I am not sure what kind

Baby boa, but I don't remember if it was a BCC or a BCI

Blue tongue skink (first time seeing one!)

I would love to know what kind of boa this is, I love the scales

And a very sweet male that actually got stuck wrapped around my arm and camera straps

so yeah I love reptile shows and I'm excited for the next one

Looks to be a viper boa, part of the Candoia. Great snakes that stay relatively small, 2-3 feet. I have a Solomon Island ground boa who’s super chill. The keeled scales feel way different than most of the smooth scaled pythons and boas.
    Other Snakes:
Hudson 1988 1.0 Colombian rainbow; Yang 2002 1.0 Corn snake; Merlin 2000 1.0 Solomon Island ground boa; Kett 2015 1.0 Diamond Jungle Jaguar carpet python; Dakota 2014 0.0.1 Children’s python

    Ball pythons:
    Eli 1990 1.0 Normal; Buttercup 2015 1.0 Albino; Artemis 2015 0.1 Dragonfly; Orion 2015 1.0 Banana Pinstripe; Button 2018 1.0 Blue Eyed Lucy; Piper 2018 0.1 Piebald; Belle 2018 0.1 Lemonblast; Sabrina 2017 0.1 Mojave; Selene 2017 0.1 Banana Mojave; Loki 2018 1.0 Pastel Mystic Potion; Cuervo 2018 1.0 Banana Piebald; Claude 2017 1.0 Albino Pastel Spider; Penelope 2016 0.1 Lesser
