    Ben Siegel

Has anyone here dealt with Ben Siegel Reptiles out of Florida before? I was thinking about buying a pair of Brazilian Rainbows off of him, but would like to know who I am dealing with first. I haven't heard anything bad about him, I just always value the opinions of those here. Thanks.

I had contacted him about animals once but never purchased anything....he seemed alright to me. As far as I remember he has a great reputation on the BOI.

The Board of Inquiry is a forum that is devoted to business dealings in the reptile industry. Here is a link:

You have to register to read the BOI. It is a great resource for checking out breeders.

    Re: Ben Siegel

i've bought from ben and no problems, i'm not a fan of most "dealers" i prefer to buy breeder direct. but ben is a good guy that is honest.

    Re: Ben Siegel

this is an old thread, but i thought i'd share my experience with him.
i bought a spotted python from him and he went above and beyond what i felt most people would do with someone that lives so far away. when i first called on the spotteds, he wouldn't sell me one because they were having some problems getting them started on f/t pinks. he called me back as soon as one of them ate and sent that one. some guys might have just sent one off with their cash in hand but i felt great getting one with a pinky in it's belly when it arrived.
