Field Herping in the Northwest (Q&A)

I live in a rural area and I'm having trouble finding the amazing Rubber Boa as they have been reported in my area (yes I realize it's winter). Does anyone have any tips for finding elusive snakes and/or attracting them to your yard? Thanks

Are you trying to capture one or just bring all the snakes to your yard?
