    Locks?

Hey everyone, so I've been breeding 3 of my female balls this breeding season and it is my first. I've seen multiple locks but one pairing in particular I haven't seen any . The male has had his tale under the females but it wasn't turned upward like it would be to call it a lock and he spends much of the time on top of her with their tails close. So there appears to be mating behavior at sime level. I check on them once or twice a day just to see what's going on. Has anyone had successful pairings before while not actually witnessing a full lock between the male and female even while checking to see? Thanks.

I used to have a male that I never caught in the act, not even close to the females he was paired with and he sired a few clutches.

    Re: Locks?

Is it a small or younger male? I notice my younger guys don't lock for nearly as long and I miss a lot of them.
