I'll bet he brightens up the room, with all the light he reflects? Pretty plus a healthy appetite, excellent!

Re: Button progression
Had a few of the youngsters out yesterday for cage cleaning and short handling sessions. Button is a chunky little guy with a bit of attitude when I took him out...cute little hiss that didn't discourage me at all. I'm sure he thought he was being very fierce.

Re: Button progression
Button was a bit wiggly today, making pictures a challenge. I know there's a good chance that he will develop some pattern or color as he ages, but I am enjoying the pure white while it lasts.
On 12/29/18 he weighed in at 279 grams. Today he weighed in at 341 grams. Much like Piper, he is a little chow hound.

He's a stunner, and I especially love his eyes. It's always reassuring when snakes are "chow-hounds" too. (I hope he won't outgrow that...)

My thoughts exactly on hoping he doesn’t outgrow it, though I’m somewhat used to it with some of my older crew. For example, Orion still hasn’t eaten for me since I got him in October. I’m feeding the hatchlings every 7-10 days. I don’t want them too chunky, as I am a big believer that feeding them too much too often only leads to health issues and a shortened life span. They have good steady growth, which is what I’m aiming for.
Button’s pure white color and those silver-blue eyes are what sold me on him. He was hands down the best looking BEL at the show. I had looked at a lot of them on MM before going to this show (where I was only going to get hides and live feeders...Ha!). There were a couple I was looking at from other vendors, one female in particular with a pale yellow/cream dorsal stripe, but I wasn’t really sure about her. I decided to take another lap around the show while I thought about her, and a vendor that was late setting up was just putting out Button and his sister. I hovered while I waited for him to get the displays set up and priced. Once he was done I asked to hold Button and the rest was history. I don’t think I even put him down to sign the CC receipt.
