    Need help identifying these

    Good morning guys,

I had a question regarding some blood/short tail pythons I recently rescued.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks in advance

That's quite a haul. What's the background story on the rescue?

1, 2 and 4 are Borneo short tails. Genetics for Borneos isn't always super straightforward, but 2 and 4 are maybe ultrabreit or other - there are a lot of similar variations with different names, and I'm not super familiar with how they are all related in Borneos.

3 and 5 are bloods (T+ albino and normal).

    Apparently there is no story.

    Re: Need help identifying these

Sorry guys. Literally someone dumped the whole lot in a 50l run outside in the cold. Iím known locally for having a number of animals and ended up getting called about a box of snakes. When I went to pick them up I was sure they were all dead.

After closer investigation I noticed that their tongues were barley moving and rushed them home into the warm. After a few hours in the warm they began to become more active and how none of them have a respiratory infection to me is a miracle.

They were riddled with mites and some had some scale rot with one having a more serious case and missing a lot of scales by its vent.

Since then I have treated for mites and the scale for and they are feeding well and gaining some weight.

Itís beyond me how someone can just abandon animals in that way fully knowing that they will die. Just glad I was called and got there in time to be able to help these guys.

That is horrible that someone thought is was okay to just dump them off like that. Thank you for taking them in and getting them healthy!

I've never understood what kind of human being can dump a defenseless animal of any kind

Damn shame, those are all really beautiful animals and Iím guessing they must have cared at some point. Cared enough to pick them out anyway! Good on you Marwan for stepping up and helping. 5 snakes is no small undertaking.

Those are beautiful pythons and you are an awesome person to rescue them!
Once they are all in the clear for health, you will be treated with a seriously sweet collection of short fat pythons! Lol
