    Thanks Dianne. I was a little unsure how to get him back in his cage when he was coiled like that. A quick tap with my snake hook and he snapped back like a tape measure into his hide while holding the rat

    Yes, as you can tell by the picture, he shot out of his enclosure striking the rat and just stayed their coiled until I tapped him.
