    What is this?

Just got my new Cinnamon Pied boy home today and noticed this when I took him out of the bag! Anybody know what it is and how to treat it?

i would contact the breeder immediately. that is definitely an injury and i'd be furious to get a snake with an obvious injury.

EDIT: it almost looks like a blister?!?

    Re: What is this?

I’ve not seen anything exactly like that before, but it appears to be some type of injury. Have you contacted the seller? If not, I’d be sure to do so and share the photos with them.

in the meantime: follow proper quarantine, no substrate, paper towel only, keep everything clean and keep decor to a minimum.

    Ok, i copied the links.

Almost looks like those scales got ripped off and there is blood under the skin.

Follow all the advice that has been given to a "t". I also would like to know what the breeder/seller has to say?

Was there any blood in the bag he was shipped in? If not, then the injury must have happened before shipping..

    Re: What is this?

I'll definitely contact the seller in the morning. He's the only snake 🐍 in my house 🏠 right now so I'm not worried 😟 about quarantine. He is already on paper towels and everything is clean. Would it be bad to put a tiny bit of hydrogen peroxide on it?
Sorry about the photo issue. I haven't quite figured out how to post them yet plus I'm doing it from my phone.
