    Banana vs. Coral Glow

I have seen on some websites they are the same thing, and then on other sites (including here) people will have one coral glow snake and one banana snake and they seem to be different somehow? Can anyone enlighten me?

From what I understand two different breeders each came up with this morph and one called it banana and one called it coral glow, but it's the same exact thing.

So why do people still differentiate? One breeder has both bananas and coral glows for sale and they both seem to be pretty much the same.

Some still stick to the "original" morph ID their snake came from. Otherwise it's just nomenclature and what they got used to saying most likely.

    Re: Banana vs. Coral Glow

I’m sure someone with more experience will chime in, but from much of what I have read they are the same genetics but from different breeder lines. Take that with a grain of salt, because I’ve only recently a started reading up on these....which resulted in me purchasing a Banana Pinstripe and then a Banana Mojave.

Thanks, waiting to see if anyone has anything else to say. :-) I have my banana BP and I am not a breeder or collector, I just thought, "wow that's a pretty snake" and I love his personality.

    Same animals different lines.

Back in the days around the same time 2 animals were imported from Africa, one ended up in NERD collection (Coral Glow), the other was acquired by Will Slough if I remember correctly (Banana)

Same super, compatible and the variation between one offspring to another is just the variation of the mutation itself some Banana will be more or less purple, same goes for Coral Glow.
