I'm glad you found him! I'd love to hear the story from his point of view too.

I had a hatching corn escape before. I had just gotten her and didn't even have a meal in her before she got out. I was away on vacation so had no idea how long she had been out. She was gone for roughly 26 days before I found her making noise in a grocery bag.

My wife is fond of one of my corns and constantly lets it get cozy in her sweater pockets or the hood. He got out once and I found him snuggled into one of her sweaters sitting on the dining room table.

Well, at least now you know what to get them [the snakes] for Christmas, eh?

Little snake sweaters would be SO cute, if only they stayed on...

Holy crap, T!!! What an adventure!!! I'm glad you shared it, too. It will be a great learning tool for others. You always hear people say "keep snakes and you're going to be bitten eventually". I feel the same could be said for an escapee. Keep snakes long enough and you're bound to have an escapee at some point.

Keep your chin up, you're a fantastic snake Momma!!!

I'm so happy for you and Corny that the story has a happy ending!!!

Oh wow, now this is a saga indeed! I'm so glad that you found him so quickly and in good shape. I'm thinking I should also invest in screen clips and stop relying on books and heavy tiles...
