OMG, Yes! This is 100% me. Though I'd need the corresponding Herpstat and RHPs of course.

your electric bill is astronomical, but all the plants in your house are plastic.
a cop walks into your house and runs out.
Great thread!

...you have 12" tweezers on hand, or you keep BBQ tongs in the livingroom.
...you shop in thrift stores for golf clubs but you don't play golf. (FYI, the shaft & handles make superb snake-hooks, w/ only modification to the head.)
...you have WAY more pillowcases than pillows or sheet sets...and you don't care if they match anything.

Re: You know you're a snake keeper when...
In addition to bbq tongs or hemastats, you might have a bbq spatula to reach the back of a 30” cage your arms are too short for.

Re: You know you're a snake keeper when...
When you've memorized your local FedEx hub's address
When this kind of thought process makes sense: 1 becomes 2 becomes 6 becomes "OK I'm good now" becomes 14
When you spend hours researching the finer points between substrates and still don't have the answers so you just keep trying different things
When quality reptile shows are one of the highlights of your year
