    New 24x18 exo terra setup!

Believe me when I say I am so incredibly happy right now!! I found a used exo terra in great condition for 28 bucks! I brought it home Thursday and sanitized it and everything, I put my bp in it today and it's perfect.
I made some hides this week, bought some fake plants & disinfected some rocks and sticks I found in the woods and I'm really happy with how it looks! I've two of the four sides blocked out (I would have done three but I ran out of material) along with the screen top to keep in humidity, and that's been the best part! My humidity is finally stable at a good level, I think it's hovering around 65% right now.
He's got identical hides on both sides and a water bowl in the middle, and plants and rocks scattered about.
Anywayy, here's some pics, thanks for reading!

Btw, the pics of the outside were taken before I covered the sides, whoops!

It can also be dangerous...two of this year’s purchases for me came from CL. Of course, one is my dragonfly girl Artemis and the other my Mojave girl Sabrina, so I can’t complain.

Nothing on CL re. reptiles for this area. There is one bug guy (turns out he is my immediate neighbor), and a bird guy (I have one of his doves, and one budgie). Other than that, about 100 sad looking various puppies (and someone who is always trying to sell the same aquarium gravel) I never go there anymore...too depressing!

Luckily both of my girls were local pickups...there’s a pretty active reptile community in Richmond. That said, I’ve also checked the pages for a couple of larger cities about 2 hours away. Roanoke has a few reptiles and Virginia Beach/Hampton has a fair number of snakes and other reptiles. I’ll be avoiding CL for a while...I’m afraid I’ll find someone else I want to bring home.
