    Emerald tree boas

Anyone here with emerald tree boas or green tree pythons? This is my dream snake, and ideally someday I would love to have one with a paludarium setup with rainbowfish in the bottom. Any general care tips? I haven't gotten one yet, just would like to in the future and I am in the process of researching.

    Re: Emerald tree boas

Finding a USCBB ETB is work. And finding an Amazon Basin one without needing a second mortgage is even more work. With that said. I got 2 Biak GTPs. I would like to get a USCBB northern ETB one of these days or maybe a red neo manok.

    Re: Emerald tree boas

It means captive bred and born as opposed to being farmed or wc.
I know nothing about etbs but the people I've known who had them had more issues with them than they did with their gtps. They seem more delicate, especially young ones, but that's purely anecdotal. I've only ever had one gtp that was a finicky feeder, but he turned out ok. All of my others were very hardy. This girl will turn 10 this April (I got her when she was just a few weeks old) and she has never had any issues, I dont even remember her missing a meal or anything.

Also, Sauzo, I'm really excited to see your biaks start changing...tell them to hurry it up already

@Kristan, haha i know. Pat is about 1.3 years old or so and just starting to change. He's a Biak though so i expect he will be 'changing' for the next 5 years or so since they take forever and a day. Alex is only about 4 months old, so she has probably about a year before i see anything happening to her.
