    Trip to the zoo

Last week me and the Mrs went away for a couple of days for our 8th wedding anniversary ,we got married on the beach in Cuba, was amazing
Any way on the Thursday went xmas shopping and got some decent bargain as it was Black Friday and we stayed in a hotel and went to Chester zoo for the day
It was a big fresh but we got to see loads of great animals, they have some amazing breeding programs one of the little rhinos was only born 3weeks ago
Some of the pics arnt the best as a lot of them was thru the glass
they have two types of rhino and both have had young
the tiger was so coolthey had a fair few snakes too

    Re: Trip to the zoo

A few years ago we took 200 students ( 11 years old ) to Chester Zoo and after the performance of getting them all through the turnstiles the first 'attraction' they saw was a huge male elephant errrrr ....... 'loving' a female !!

    Scary !!

Thanks for sharing. Those are some great pics. Wow, those Rhino's look like they are well taken care of. They are so smooth they almost look like clay statues lol. It looks like that place obviously takes the care of their animals very seriously. That's always nice to see. Many are questionable at best.

Thanks everyone, yes it really is a great zoo with an amazing breeding program,it huge too, I’m sure there wouldn’t be that many youngsters about if they wasn’t happy in there surroundings, there was loads more animals ,but some of the glass was steamed up in places so hard to take photos
