    Unhappy

    Today she died

    after my last post
I sent her to this guy ( who owns hundreds of snakes )
    and asked him for help
I'm sure he tried his best
she got better after every course of antibiotics . but the RI kept coming back.
and she refused to eat again.
today he sent me a video of her. dead !!

my passion in snakes didn't end good .. my first and most docile snake died because of me.

and she will be my last . I can't stand the lose of a soul because of me.

one last thing for people like me ( never buy an animal without finding a vet for it first )

thank you guys for all the help

Oh my god that's awful. I am sorry for your loss. That is heartbreaking. It's truly awful when you lose a pet.

So sorry for your loss but don't blame it on yourself. Sounds like you did everything you could.

Re: My Burmese python flinch every time she see me

Im sorry, i understand how you feel.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that Burm had complications before you got her. They are hardier animals than you think. To have a small RI come on without mucous means it was very slight otherwise you would have had drainage etc around the nose/mouth. Also they can go for a Year without eating if they were healthy to begin with. This snake could of had parasites that were already compromising it’s health or some other infection. You just dont know as the Vet didnt do any Panel to tell you what sickness it had. Dont beat yourself up, but also learn and and next time get a well bred snake from a well known breeder who has had years of success with healthy Reptiles.
