    Tank discounts at shows

So this is probably a dumb question but does anyone know how much exo terra tanks are usually discounted at reptile shows? I'm sure this varies a lot but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask haha

I'm sure it depends on the vendor and region, but I got a 36x18x18 Exo Terra at repticon for about $140. Not a bad price. About $80 less than one of my local reptile shops was selling them for.

    Re: Tank discounts at shows

I bought an Exo-Terra 36" x 18" x 36" for $250 at the Manchester NH expo (normally $300 + shipping). The vendor said I made his crew very happy that they did not have to reload it into the truck and gave me a free t-shirt... How I got it in/out of my car and then carrying it up three flights of stairs by myself without breaking it-will remain a small miracle...

Wow, these prices... Depends on where you are at I would say down here where I am I have seen prices low as 50-100$ for 36 x 18 x 12" terrariums in store. In my recent Repticon venture(10th of this month) I did not see any Exo-Terra(I could have missed it) But the Zilla/Zoo-Med tanks were going for about 100$-150$ for the typical high top 40+ gallon tanks.

Another thing I saw though was a lot of breeders seem to try and sell their old enclosures whether that's racks or terrariums keep an eye out for those too if your super interested and just disinfect before you use.

Also, keep an eye out for black Friday sales at the big box stores. I got a good deal on one last year. Almost 1/2 price

If there is a Petco near you, they have tanks for $1 a gallon all the time. I got my 40 gallon from there for $40. $20 for a screen lid and a roll of aluminum foil and you’re in business. Just a thought if you want to save some money.
