    Re: Need Some Help Dialing in Temps with AP Enclosure & RHP

    Thanks everyone for their helpful advice in this matter. I'm attaching pictures of my setup so as you can see I have my TSTAT probe hanging a couple inches from the bottom of the enclosure centered to the middle of the RHP.
    Here's the results of my latest TSTAT:

    TSTAT = 85 degrees

    Warm Side Hide (Top): 88 - 93 (interesting there can be a 4 degree difference on top)
    Warm Side Hide (Inside): 87.8

    Cool Side Hide (Top): 79-81
    Cool Side Hide (Inside): 78

    Ground Temps (middle of enclosure): 82

    Humidity Gauge on Cool Side (58-60%)
    Humidity Gauge on Hot Side (47%)

    I used two seperate humidity gauges which might be contributing to the difference in readings. Odd that both water bowls are on the hot side so I would expect this side to be more humid.

    Anything thoughts to my temps? This is for my BCI Boa.

    Thanks!!!!

    93f is hot, but if it’s just one spot, and it averages around or below 90f on top of hide, and more importantly 90f or under in hide, you are in good shape.

    Ambient and cool side temps look good.

    Remember to check if/when temps change in room, if not daily anyway.
