    1st Mouse!

    i was feeding the babies, when i noticed that Sriracha my spoonfed Oreocryptophis porphyraceus coxi was tracking prey. i decided to throw him a mouse. well he practically leapt out of the tub, missed, resets, strikes again and wrap! so much for politeness my lil boy!

    fresh shed and fresh f/t food!



    FYI - this is actually his first mouse! he's been on multiple pinkies then fuzzies per meal since i got him in March. he's been growing steadily and very problem free for a Coxi.



    it's a small adult mouse but he was excited to take it. #SoProud but i'm sure one day, i'll look back and miss the good ol' days: https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...fed-Yes-please!





    i think the skin between his scales are is actually white.

    My little guy was my scariest snake even though he was probably under 18" long

    Is yours handleable or a psychotic monster ??

    When I recently moved him into a container so I could clean his viv out he bit me continuously about 40 times ... luckily I was kitted up with leather driving gloves

    Beautiful snake! Love seeing other species, esp. the less common ones.
    The chain maille looks good too. Perhaps there are possibilities for combining our hobby with an SCA event.
