    Moss options! :()

So, I'm going to be ordering some moss on amazon for my BP and there are soooo many kinds that I'm seeing... If you could do the poll and then in the comments tell me why you like what you are using and anything else you want to add! Thank you so much!!

I use spagnum moss, but my boy doesn’t seem to be a fan. He avoids crawling through it and once I saw his face touch a piece that was sticking out and he just about balled up lol. He also won’t use a hide that has the moss in it. This is probably just a thing with mine though. It does hold humidity pretty well

That is very funny! I guess it wouldn't hurt to try because I can always just take it out if it doesn't seem to agree with her

Now and then one or two of my boys seems off put by the touch, but it’s for their own good. I’ve even seen snakes not like the touch of arm hair. I’ve been using moss as long as I can remember, to me it’s almost an essential if your using tanks or are in a very dry area. Sphagnum moss is best, either Zoomed or some of the cleaner stuff you can find bagged at Home Depot.

Thank you! I ordered a bag of sphagnum moss off of Amazon and it should be here on the 6th. Can't wait to see if she likes/doesn't like the moss

I've been using the coconut stuff. I got a whole bag from the previous owner. It seems to work ok but I also don't have anything to compare as this is my first snake. I am going to try the sphagnum moss when I replace it though. Seems to be the popular choice and will hopefully help with the humidity.
