    Congrats!!! He's awesome!!

I'm still hoping to add a carpet in the future, but waiting for the green light to go a bit bigger, so holding off for a Bredli myself.

Thanks everyone. Is very exciting having a new addition and this little guy is something special. I can't wait to see him grow, and you'll see him too... I will start a progression thread after his acclimation and quarantine.

Great looking Bredli. I like the perches in his tub too. Carpets really are the best. Congrats!

    First meal here at home!

He arrived 7 days ago and waited until today to make sure he was hungry. And sure he was, didn't hesitate to grab that 8g hopper.
He weighed 39 grams when he arrived from breeder.
One meal down and 2 to go until I can take him out for some handling time.

I watched him quietly and super still until he was done with the mouse, is amazing how they can eat upside down. Super neat to watch.

    I love it.

Good for you setting up perches. I think ALL species of carpet are quite arboreal.

    They are entertaining snakes.

I'm super excited I got a Carpet Python. I got the bug 6 months ago and after considering a Jungle and a Coastal, I really wanted a Bredli. So I waited and here he is. Thanks to everyone who commented on my thread "I got bitten...". Everyone was very helpful.

What a beautiful little snake you got there! congrats! I love the "playground" you have created for it, and how cool that it eats upside down! I imagine how that would be in the wild, to just snatch something off the ground.
    Our household pets:
a young female albino black ratsnake (Noodle)
a 1 year old male banana pastel BP (Spot)
a huge feisty female 2 year old pinstripe BP (Lucy)
a 9 month old very fancy panther chameleon (Harold)
    a hedgehog (Poppy)
    two cats (Momo and Max)
    a dog (Maya)
two beta fish (Bob and Ross)
    two teenagers (both girls! eek!)
a giant light brahma chicken (TaunTaun, lives at the high school FFA barn)
and a partridge in a pear tree (just kidding!)
    --all well-loved and cared for.
