Last clutch of the year, all hatched out.

Just wanted to share pics of these guys coming out of the eggs.

This one had a window in the egg and it pipped first.

And most of the others followed so quickly that I only needed to cut one egg.

Then two days later they started coming out!

Look at all those enchis! Only one normal in the clutch. The male enchi pied is really good at passing down his genes. In the first clutch he fathered, 4/6 babies got enchi. In this clutch it's 4/5.

He was paired to a genetic stripe female, so they're all double hets. The normal girl has a very nice reduced pattern and a partial ringer on her tail. Debating whether or not to keep her... in addition to a pair of enchis.

He's been a stellar breeder. Locks with every girl who will let him. My other males have either been touch and go, or not at all interested. If it weren't for him I only would've had one clutch this year.

    Beautiful boy too.

    More baby pics!

Really loving the reduced pattern and black back on the normal girl. It must be the genetic stripe influence.

Was only going to keep 1.1 of the enchis, but now I'm considering keeping her as well. She's so pretty.

Here's what they looked like before they hatched. The middle egg is the one with the window. You can almost see the baby's pattern through it.

I ended up keeping the snake from that egg. It's not everyday you get to see a snake before it hatches, so she's special.

Those are the kind of odds you hope for when you do a pairing!
