    Tips on New Lamp

So it's getting chilly here in Upstate NY. Unfortunately, for the next month or so, we're going to be struggling to keep the ambient temperature around the cage above 65. I'm using smaller lamps at this time and it's been difficult keeping my baby's cage temperature where it needs to be without turning on the oven and running a burner with a pot of water.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for heating lamps for a 20 gal long tank? I think about this all day and night but can't seem to really come across something that I think would work well for keeping heat up.

I'm using a "fish" tank with a screen top but 75% of the top is sealed to keep in heat and moisture. I can upgrade tanks if need be but I don't know what to do. We're moving to a new home with better climate control than our current place.

Have you put anything on the glass "insulation"?
