    Setting up tank?

Is my tank setup ok? I have two hides, one on each side, a water bowl, with reptibark substrate. For heating, I just use a bulb, which brings the temperature of one side to about 90 degrees. The other side stays at 78-80 degrees. I use a towel to keep humidity in. Anything I’m missing? Do I need a uth or is it just another method of heating the tank?

An UTH is for belly heat/ digestion. I say yes it is needed. As long as it is regulated by a thermoSTAT. Not a thermometer. A thermostat is not an option. It is a requirement for any heat sources.

I like Ultratherm from Reptile Basics.
I like Herpstat for the T-stat.
