    Wild Carpet.

This isn't at all uncommon Down Under. I love how carpet pythons have adapted to areas inhabited by humans.

This video I found on YouTube is pretty cool. The homeowner eventually refers to the snake as his "mate".

This is not my video but I do like it and think carpet python folks will too.

    It is a beautiful carpet.

Even us "non-carpet folks" love this video... thanks for sharing! I have a hunch this carpet was doing the guy a big favor, eating roof rats up there.

I know a woman who used to live in Belize (w/ her family), and she had a similar situation with a boa that lived in the rafters of their house. I think I'll send
her this link, in case she's forgotten how much fun she had with a large snake for an uninvited & persistent room-mate, lol.

That’s so cool,mad-to think they can climb like that up a vertical wall, suppose the ship lap gives it the extra grip and as said also keeps the vermin down

I had a few escapees when I first started up ... mainly Corn snakes and one White Blizzard ( easy to find) in particular... one thing I did notice was that she always went UPWORDS .... on one occasion ( I didn't even know she'd got out and I was working at the computer in my snake room ( luckily) when I noticed out of the corner of my eye this bright White snake hanging from the curtain rail directly above the PC screen
