    Help With Sexing Hognose

Hello everyone. I recently acquired a hatchling hognose and have read that you can sex them based on the length/shape of their tail but I have no experience with it. I don't want to try popping or probing the little guy as I'm worried about hurting him. If anyone has experience visually sexing hognoses I'd greatly appreciate the help determining its gender. Thanks!

Now keep in mind that with some young individuals it can be a little bit tricky especially if you cannot compare to clutch mates (I have seen a few females over the years looking like males when young).

Here is a picture for future reference.
