    Aurora

    Taking advantage of this beautiful day

    This is the girl that almost got me the other day. She took a few weeks off of feeding and is back with a vengeance. I can hardly open the tub far enough to get the rat in when she comes lunging out.
    So the other day I open the tub and she lunges out. So I hold the very warm ft rat right up to her like I always do. Suddenly her head swivels around at me and she lunges right at my face...mouth wide open! As far aha she could reach with the first third of her body.
    Good thing feed with long tongs and have some distance..LOL. Even though, she came close! I had to move the rat in front of her again and she grabbed it. Then I had to lift her and the rat back into her tub.
    When not in feed mode, she is a absolute sweetheart. And she isn't always such a aggressive hunter.

    She’s gorgeous! I sympathize with the face lunges, my male bp has done that a couple of times...not cool since his cage is face level.
