I was in the pet store on friday and in the bp tank there was a pastel/mohave looking bp in there, only 60$.
why?

I said it looked like one, not that it was one. I figured that since it looked like one, the price of the animal would be greater.

I promise they were not trying to make you feel stupid Your intial question may have seemed like the typical 'is this snake a morph' question, but now i understand
...usually pet stores and retailers will label something as 'special' or 'not normal' and charge $100 to $200 for something that is just a normal. I have seen this alot with socalled 'high golds', 'reduced', and 'alien head'....yes...i have actually seen 'alien head ball pythons' for sale at a higher price. So, yes...it is odd to see a pet store sell a nice normal for a normal price
