    Wild black rat snake.

    I found him in a well cover at a plumbing customers house. Since I have tons of experience handling snakes, I just grabbed him and tossed him out of the way, so I could work on the well.
    After he slithered away to a rock, I snapped a couple of pics. This one is a subadult. They get up to 8 feet long here in North Carolina!

    They're native here too (AR)...awesome serpents, & he looks pretty healthy & successful.

    nice! I Caught a Beautiful 4.5ft Male a few weeks ago over Labor Day Weekend. He was on the curve of a busy street, and i moved him about 20meters away from the street and into the woods near my house. I LOVE those Guys!!
