    Is he going into shed?

My baby bp has been in and out here and there from his water dish. I've checked and cleaned him numerous times, and there has been no sign of mites. I have been noticing him nudge his nose against stuff constantly, and when he tries swimming in his water dish, his nose is glued to the walls of the water dish, and he tries swimming like crazy. I have noticed him becoming duller, and he has some lighter parts of scales around his head. But his eyes aren't cloudy. What could be going on?

Hes been in and out of his water dish like over 3 times already.

Sounds like he's trying to shed, but hasn't enough humidity perhaps? As far as his eyes being clear, you do realize that snakes cloud up, then go "clear"
(appearing almost normal, as if they've already shed) and THEN they shed. You might want to raise his humidity &/or offer a humid-hide.

I actually did not know that, so that's music to my ears As for humidity, his humidity has been around 60%. Sometimes it's 65%, sometimes it may be 58% then goes back to 60%. What humidity range should I be shooting for??

Bump it to 70% to have a safe shed, assuming he is actually going into shed.

Yes....what she already said ^^^^^ And pushing their nose against things is how they start the shedding* process, so if he's
doing that without success, it suggests his humidity is not adequate. (*lighter areas & looking duller are other clues)
