    Orange spot on het pied hatchling

    Anyone have any idea if this is a spot because of the het pied gene?

    does the break in the dorsal stripe right above mean anything in regards to the ringer? jc on ur thoughts.

    It has solid edges so I would say it's probably just a coincidence or part of how het pied does weird things to patterns.
