This might be simple and i might be thinking to hard hahaha.. But im confused. Ice water? What if i have my fridge colder than yours? 32 is suppose to be freezing. Did you mean a Ice Cube not Ice water? That still wouldnt make sense to me though.. freezers and frozen food/ice are at different temps depending on the Freezer setting.
Its been a long day sorry JM
On another note, I havent been that Anal about temps in 29 years and I aint starting now hahahaha.
The snakes arent going to notice 2-3 degrees so I keep my hot spots 89-90 incase they are 3 off and actually 93 and I keep my Cool Spots 81/82 incase they are actually 78.. their case closed hahahahaha

A glass full of ice, then filled with water, stirred and left for a couple minutes will always read 32*. There must be ice in the water for it to be considered “ice water” in this case I didn’t describe it in a detailed enough manner the first time around.
Cold water from the fridge will of course vary depending on the temp of your refrigerator.

Try it out. It works well for calibration of temp guns. My little zoomed point and shoot IR gun just read between 31.5-32.5 in a glass of ice water right now.

I’ll try it tomorrow. Ive been stressing a little because the Burm is spending all night cruising and climbing and only has Heat Tape until his RHP gets here. I just checked his body and he is 78.. i like a min of 80/82 cool side for Burms. I wish he would stop being active at night until I get his Ambient up hahahahaha..
    (Oops im Hijacking) sorry
