    I use reptichip now for the ball pythons. I used to use harlan teklad aspen which worked great too and seems to dry out their waste faster with less smell. But aspen causes lower humidity, so only if you live in a humid area.

    I use coconut husk as well and have been for years. Provides great humidity and keeps things clean. Easy to get, pretty cheap and looks great in terrariums.
