Blood on paper towels in BP tub
Last night I fed my ball python, he eats, strikes, poops, urinates, sheds and everything completely fine. He usually bleeds a tiny bit after shedding but that's about it. When I fed him I noticed a couple hours after he had ate it, around the same place the rat was there were two stains of blood, quite large stains of blood. I've checked his vents and his whole body and there seems to be no other blood signs or anything wrong with him so I'm guessing it's from the rat but I just want to make sure. I've swapped the paper towels to see if the blood is actually coming from him. If anyone has any suggestions on what maybe wrong or if it was just from the rat, let me know!
Thanks
- Brandon

If you examined your animal and see no visible wound I think you are probably right that its from the freeder rat, sometimes when you see something out of the norm in your pets enclosure your nerves make a drop or two look a lot more. I just watch and make sure there isn't any new blood after changing the paper towel to have peace of mind hopefully someone with more experience will chime soon best wishes always..
