    87 Elephants found dead

This article is sad. I think it's time we legalize poaching the poachers.

I hear you man! Lets grab a couple of sniper riffles and start picking off poachers! Who is with me?

One of my dream animals to have is an elephant. Not a reasonable dream but just love them. This angers me to no end! Elephants are very intelligent and family oriented. They love, and are very emotional creatures. So sad.

If it was a realistic option to form a vigilante crew to hunt animal poachers I'd sign up today

ugh, this sucks so bad. how do u massacre 87 elephants, let alone 1? this has got to be a few herds.

    from the article:
Botswana disarmed its anti-poaching unit in May, one month after President Mokgweetsi Masisi took office. The country previously had a shoot-to-kill policy against poachers. The BBC reports a "senior official in the president's office, Carter Morupisi, told journalists in Botswana at the time that the 'government has decided to withdraw military weapons and equipment from the Department of Wildlife and National Parks', but he did not explain why."
i hope they re-double their efforts in Botswana and everywhere else. this is so sad.
    RIP Mamba

I can't even look at these kind of articles anymore, too depressing and I know this kinda thing won't stop till they are all dead.

    Nooooooo!!!!

The poachers are just poor and desperate, usually. You need to, pardon the pun in very poor taste, cut off the head of the snake. That's the $$$ behind this, which typically stems from Asia.

Just gut wrenching and awful. My heart is broken.
