Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.

Sadly both of the super black pastel were kinked. Each one had a single kink at the base of the skull that would prevent them from eating. Both were humanly euthanized. The rest of the clutch is I believe

Re: Babies ( pictures to come)

I knew the risks breeding super black pastels. I incubated at a lower temperature than normal. I did everything that I could to ensure that they were healthy. The line that I use generally doesn't have kinking issues I just got unlucky. The thing in breeding that people need to remember is things happen, we have to take responsibility for the babies. So like I said before they were humanly euthanized and I don't know what next season will bring. I don't own that female anymore, she laid for me twice and I let her move on. I will be holding back the black pastel spotnose pinstripe the other two I haven't decided on yet.

It has and it hasn't. Like I said I made the choice I knew the risks and I'll be brutally honest I would do the pairing again I don't know anything different that I could have done it's never easy losing babies especially to a kink or something that is out of your control I did get a few exceptional babies out of there and snake that I was trying to hit so I can't be too disappointed with the clutch and I got fantastic odds even if I did lose 2

yep, i've been preparing myself for this for awhile. i know what my goals are and hope i can hit them as soon as possible w/o the heartbreak but i know what i will have to do if things don't work out.

And that's the most important thing is I don't own up to it and dealing with it you know that's a choice we make as breeders
