Ciri's Shed Worries
Maybe im a bit paranoid with her being a new snake and all, but a few days ago, I noticed Ciri was in blue. I was excited, and ready for it to happen. The last few days, I didnt notice much other than her eyes clearing as usual, until a few hours ago. I noticed she peed, which I thought usually happened after the shed, but it was obvious she hadn't left the old skin yet. She seems wrinkly...really wrinkly, like a deflated balloon. Along with this, a small popping sound seems to be coming from her nose now and again. I was really worried this may be a sign of an RI, but also have heard that this can happen to a snake whos nostrils are a bit blocked by the shedding, is this true?
These changes happened over the entire day, so i'm guessing its just by the shedding process, and i'll probably wake up to a fresh shed in the morning...but I suppose I just want to make sure the little girl is ok.

Ciri's Shed Worries
I'd start spraying the viv /tub now and a few more times today and until you find the crumpled up shed ( probably under a hide in a few days ) ...

Re: Ciri's Shed Worries
As zinc said start increase the humid by Misting a few times a day, the Popping sounds could be the skin loosening from round the nostrils and not an RI, fingers crossed for you . Normally is ,if you hadn't noticed it before. It should hopefully go when she has shed, good look

Came home from work today and gave her tub a little spritz, also moved her water dish over the heated side to bring up that humidity more. She didnt seem super happy, but I could tell the skin was starting to separate more. I also do believe the sounds she was making was just shed, because the more I listen, the more it seems like a pop or flap of some sort. Hopefully she'll feel better in a few days time. Thanks!

Re: Ciri's Shed Worries
Gonna bump this bow...its been a few days now. I added the moist washcloth to her tub, which raised humidity qell. She looked a lot better and the wheezing went away, but still no shed...i feel like the main reason im worried is that its the ENTIRE shed, not just a few stuck pieces. Should i try soaking, or give her a while longer?
She also ate today, so she doesnt seem super stressed

Well if she ate you should leave her alone completely for 48 hours and let her digest it thoroughly ..apart from spraying the enclosure morning , noon and evening today for the next 3 or 4 days .. then you'll probably find the rolled up shed in a dirty clump somewhere , usually under a hide ..
