New adult ball python not wating yet
About a month ago I picked up 2 new ball pythons. One of them, the female, is eating amazing. But the other one, the male, is not eating yet. The breeder i got him from said he ate f/t or live. So I tried f/t at first, no response. Then after 3 weeks, tried a live one, as some of my others still eat live, and he at first seemed interested, but then kept striking it and would try to get away. He's a big boy, 1100 grams. He obviously ate before I got him. I'm not to worried at the moment. He's not losing weight, the temp in my rack is always 88. Just want to get your guys opinions.

Are you offering weekly? What size prey? Time? Etc...
A little more info about what you are doing would def. help.

I have been offering once a week, and a medium rat. Even tried a small rat once. And usually around late afternoon I feed. Room is dark when I feed.

In my experience with adult it's always a 50/50 shot of them not eating, adult seems to take a lot longer to adjust to their new surrendering, easily going weeks to months with no food.
I had it happen with breeder loan animals that I received as well as an adult that I purchased.
All you can do is emulate the former owner's setup and be patient.
