    Fred The Toffino BP

Decided to take a couple pics while I did a deep clean on his cage. Unfortunately this guy has taken a back seat with all the excitement surrounding the arrival of my first BCI. He’s always been super docile and tame for me although it’s been fairly stressful getting this guy to eat on a consistent basis. He’s currently hovering around 500grams. Enjoy!

    He's a beauty.

I have 4 snakes now and 8 reptiles in total (3 Leopard Geckos and 1 Blue Tongue Skink also).

I have to be careful to make sure everyone is cared for properly. I have a routine and I stick to it. Not exactly like snakes miss attention or feel neglected, but I make sure everyone gets some time with me. Good for them and good for me.

I think you can manage two, but everyone has their limit! Mine is 8!

What a pretty color combination! "Toffino" makes perfect sense.

Thank you! I can definitely manage two. The only stressful part is the feeding which I’ve learned to cope with a lot better.

Thanks Richard. His colors are really holding up well!

Thank you! I was sold after reading that Toffinos hold their colors well into Adulthood.

    Re: Fred The Toffino BP

Here’s a couple recent shots of my 1st and only BP. He’s currently going through a 2 month fast which is always frustrating. You start to second guess the reasons but I guess it’s just how BPs are; especially as they get older.

I’ve actually even considered trying to rehome him and replace with another BOA but it’s hard to part with him since he was my 1st snake and he’s been great (minus the feeding droughts).
