Ball Pythons housed in a garage??

I was wondering what would be the cons of moving my racks into my garage. I live on the treasure cost of FL. Now before I posted this question I have been sampling the temperatures in my garage. The highest reading was 89 and lowest was 72 (had AC unit on) my humidity is 57%. The AC unit does cycle on/ off on its own just like my central AC, in fact my garage has a vent in it that does feed off my main unit. I do not store any chemicals in my garage.
All my racks will have thermostats on them and they will be open racks. The only problem I foresee would be if the ac went down I would not have a cool side.

Do you park in your garage? That's an awful lot of temperature fluctuation (when you open the door), and while I've never lived in FL, I know
sometimes you get some weird weather too (like frost in winter). Is this a "finished" (& insulated) garage? Can anything else get to them in the
garage that would be less likely in the house? (ants, for example, but I can remember someone's boa that apparently died from a spider bite too)

72 I wouldn't worry about, but 89 would be a big problem.

yes my garage is insulated how well not sure.

No i do not park my vehicles in the garage i use my garage

my garage to build fishing rods.

The only reason for the extream tep difference was i was working in the garage.

I never thought about pest getting to them.

I think i am going reopen the vent that feed from inside the home and see what temps i get.

Another big point for me is security. Do you want neighbors to be able to look right in and see what you have when the door is up? Does it have a sturdy lock?
I just feel that most garages have so much temp fluctuation and not enough insulation so id definitely keep checking that.

I want to thank every one for their input. I have decided to keep my collection in my home. you all made some great points that i never thought about. After taking sample heat readings I would have to depend on a window shaker to keep the temps in the right zone, and if it was to fail it would be a bad situation. I love my snakes to risk their health.
