    Cosmo hit 70 grams!!

Cosmo hit 70 grams empty yesterday! I looked back at his records and he was 35 grams at this time last year. He's my first and only hognose, but I feel like he's a bit of a slow grower (no basis for comparison, so I could be mistaken). Regardless, he's always maintained a healthy body structure so I'm perfectly fine with that.

Here are a few pics of him in all his hognose cuteness, taken over the last few weeks.

I’m a sucker for that pushed up nose!

great shots of it there! Sounds like he’s growing slow and steady! Tyfs

Considering the rough start he has done well.

Usually by their first year you can expect a hognose to be 50/70 males being on the lower end of that spectrum if they are feed adequately and do not refuse food

Males do not get big I have a 2 year old that is around 85 grams while I have a 4 year old that maybe 125 grams.

Biggest male I ever owned was 160 grams.

Thanks, Deb. I think he's doing well. He's solid and overall eats well. He's consistently gaining weight, albeit slowly.

I'm perfectly fine with him staying small, I'm perfectly fine if he eventually puts on decent size, as long as he's healthy.

Thanks again for helping me get him started!!! We're both forever grateful.
