    Question Animal Plastics

Looking for info on Animal Plastics. Has anyone used them before? Suggestions for other Cage Manufactures?

They are amazing! They have a long wait time but honestly the quality of their cages are worth it, with great customization options! Ali is great with answering questions and bouncing ideas off of so I've only had pleasant interactions! I got a T12 with LED lights, sliding glass doors and locks and I am absolutely thrilled with it! I will always and forever recommend Animal Plastics in full confidence!

Other PVC cage makers that are often suggested, (though I have had no personal experience with) are Boaphile Plastics and pvccages.

I have a T8, i absolutely love it. Theyre really easy to put together and super cheap for how well they are made. Only downside was the wait time. i give it a 10/10

    Holy buckets mate!!

Half the forum that keeps snakes uses AP.

    Two fine examples above.

Plenty of other good options but AP makes good stuff.

Look at what you find appealing and user friendly.

In reality they are plastic boxes and all can be modified to your liking usually.

I have been using AP for about 10 years now, I have everything from rack to cages, including special custom orders.

The only downside is the lead time if you are in a hurry you are likely better off with Reptile Basics or C Serpents.

If not in a hurry they have great products and Ali is top notch when it comes to customer service.

    Re: Animal Plastics

Continually hear great things about AP cages.

I have Boaphile Plastics tanks (a 5 tank stack of all 6X2' tanks, with two split in the middle to create 4 3X2's and leave me 3 6X2's). I love them and found Jeff Ronne super helpful and we spent a lot of time on the phone working out exactly what I needed for each species I was keeping (RHP, heat tape, vents, etc).

I really love the build quality and how light they are. I am sure AP is similar. Again, have not worked with or owned AP cages, but have heard good things from everyone who owns them. I liked that Jeff worked with me, the tanks came basically fully assembled, and he uses all the products he sells personally. He really knows his stuff and made my tanks perfect for my needs. Also, his lead time was only about 5-6 weeks.

From my experience, and what I've heard from others, you cannot go wrong either way.

    They are alright - LOL

I've got a 5th T10 coming next week and just ordered a custom A20 for my Ackie Monitors. Reminds me, I'll eventually need another T12 for my White Lip when it's time. Need a bigger room!
